In the last year we have enjoyed the company of people from many parts of the world, as well as local Barossans, state politicians and acquaintances who now feel like friends. We enjoy these times immensely.
Spring is here
After the first wet winter for 10 years the spring sunshine is most welcome. It has been a slow emergence from the cold of winter but luckily there has been little frost activity. Gentle top up rains, mixed with some warm days have provided the ideal spring conditions. Paddocks full of pasture growing higher than the grazing sheep, and wet soil at foot across the vineyard gladdens the heart of farming men, women and children!
Hutton Vale is looking luscious and we have invigorated spirit for the season ahead. Our lambs are plump with satisfaction, the current release wines are being hailed as some of the best yet by our extended family, known affectionately as the Taste Hutton Vale team.
