Hutton Vale Farm Experiences for 2017
Hutton Vale Farm is a mixed farm with many facets. Our philosophy is to run each arm of the business in a sustainable manner while at the same time entwining them together as a whole.
To share what we do we have an events calendar. Some activities are shared events, so people can join us and meet other guests. Others events are closed groups, meaning it is an exclusive activity for one group at a time.

Our heritage buildings, affectionately called Farm Follies, were originally built 160 years ago in a robust style with thick stone walls and minimum comforts. We have adapted them for todays use, making the perfect backdrop for private celebrations and events. The set venue hire fee is with no trimmings, we can assist you to add those, allowing each event to be unique in style.
The Barossa Camino is a collaborative experience hosted personally by the Angas and Henschke families, although every year is a little different the Camino typically takes in the picturesque Mt Edelstone Vineyard the beautiful landscape and vineyards of Hutton Vale Farm and the iconic Hill of grace vineyard via a gentle guided walk, wine tasting and lunch.
Barossa Vintage Festival
Founder Families Harvest Thanksgiving
Sunday 23 April 2017
Hosted by founder families Henschke and Angas, guided by Appellation’s new generation chefs, tour and taste ancient Barossa recipes in today’s time and place.
Your day starts with a gentle walk through the glorious landscapes of Hutton Vale Farm, led by the Angas family, to picturesque Mt Edelstone Vineyard, where the Henschkes will share a first taste of the new vintage Mt Edelstone Shiraz.
Chef Ryan Edwards and team will prepare a modern-day thanksgiving feast of recipes from classic Barossa cookbooks honouring ancient foodways and giving gratitude to the gifts of centuries of land stewardship, for you to enjoy as you wander the old orchards and lunch surrounded by heritage countryside.
The beautiful 2000 acre Hutton Vale Farm, with its rolling hills, big red gums and cherished collectables, is the perfect setting to enjoy a shared table lunch of hopped bread fresh from the 1930s wood oven, wild game pies, butchered and cured meats from the land, greens and vegetables from the Hutton Vale garden, traditionally preserved fruits and delicious puddings from yesteryear.
Limited to just 30 seats at the table, this is your chance to connect with the genuine Barossa, its food, wine, land and people.
